Changes I've Been Going Through

Another day, and another classic album hits a milestone. 

On this day, 25 years ago, Mary J Blige released her first album, "What's The 411?". This amazing album has helped to shape R&B and Soul music in so many ways possible and influenced a generation of venerability and strength. Mary J's voice, her emotions and her authenticity is undeniable, and for her first album, I feel like it was the perfect introduction to who she was, what she was through and the things to come. 

Today's song of the day is one of my favorites from the album, Changes I've Been Going Through. That hook and that beat! It's hard not to love this song. Another reason I love this song is that Reggae artist Ce'Cile sampled the hook for her 2001 hit Changez, which happens to be one of my favourite songs by her.
